Cases of Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease (HFMD) have increased across Ohio, including Riverside. HFMD spreads easily by coughing, touching contaminated surfaces, fluid from blisters, and/or the oral/fecal route. Good, frequent handwashing is the best way to prevent this, along with many other illnesses. Please see that attached infographic for additional information on HFMD.

EXCITEMENT is GROWING in my kinder classroom!! 🥰 We have been studying plants. Last week we planted seeds in our pots we painted. Today we observed our first signs of life!!! Each week over the next few months we will record our observations using FCAs for Collins Writing.💙🌼❤️

Riverside inducted 11 new members into the National Honors Society Friday afternoon. The new inductees were rated on their ability to show service, character, leadership to not only their school, but also their community all the while maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher. The county NHS banquet will be held at Riverside High school on Nov 11th. Congratulations to the following students; Makayla Hurley, Maddy Parker, Lily Zweibel, Morgan Shockey, Kara Klingler, Keira Manahan, Lei Hurley, Emilee Robinson, Cooper Crouch, Victoria Seeley. This is a mandatory meeting for all High School and Junior High athletes and parents for any athletes that DID NOT play a sport during the fall season. This is for: Basketball, Bowling, and Basketball Cheer.
