Cases of Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease (HFMD) have increased across Ohio, including Riverside. HFMD spreads easily by coughing, touching contaminated surfaces, fluid from blisters, and/or the oral/fecal route. Good, frequent handwashing is the best way to prevent this, along with many other illnesses. Please see that attached infographic for additional information on HFMD.
