The FFA has additional fruit, cookie dough, meat, and cheese items for sale. Anyone wishing to purchase items will need to do so in person at the school office by noon on Friday, December 20th.
Registration is now open for the Winter 2025 Session of Kingdom Archery! Sign up your 4th-12th grader for 8 weeks of tournament archery instruction in a Christian environment at NO COST. Sessions will be held at both Graham Local in St. Paris and Riverside Local in DeGraff and will be every Tuesday evening from 28 January until 18 March. Riverside Local Schools held the JH spelling bee on December 12th. After 13 rounds, Maria Wick correctly spelled “ointment” becoming this year’s champion. Samuel Jackson is the runner-up. Both will represent Riverside in Logan County’s Spelling Bee at the Holland Theatre on January 14th at 6pm.
Congratulations to our recent Flying R winners. Students are nominated by teachers and staff for their good deeds and outstanding character. Great job Pirates!
The second grade students enjoyed listening to Mrs. Shipp read a Christmas story.
Support the Riverside Athletic Boosters at each HS boys' basketball game this season. We are doing "Shot for the Jackpot". Tickets are 3 for $1 or an arms length for $5. If your ticket is drawn, you can take $25 or you can shoot a shot from halfcourt for the "JACKPOT". If you make the shot, you win the Jackpot.
The Jackpot tonight (Friday, December 13) is $200. The Jackpot will grow each week if no one wins. All proceeds will go to our Riverside Athletic Boosters.

Congratulations to three of our own football players, Travis Brooks, Jorden Dunham, and Braylon Dunn for being named All-Ohio yesterday! This is an incredible achievement that highlights their hard work and dedication to the team. Congratulations to all three on this well-deserved honor! Travis earned 2nd team All-Ohio OL, Jorden 3rd team All-Ohio DL, and Braylon was Honorable Mention LB. Way to go Pirates!
The winner of the Elementary spelling bee was 5th grader, Parker Evans. Championship word was "dimple." Jayce Clerico, 5th grade, was second place.
Kindergarteners celebrated Native American Day on Nov. 26th. Parents donated items and their time to provide a hands on learning experience. We had so much fun!!! Our parents R❤️CK!!! 💙
